Hanxiao Yang is a New York–based licensed architect and design leader with over a decade of experience delivering large-scale residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across the United States and internationally. Her work operates at the intersection of architecture, development, and design direction, with a focus on guiding projects from concept through construction.

She has held senior roles at Extell Development Company, The Durst Organization, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), where she has led complex, multi-stakeholder projects ranging from high-rise residential towers to major transportation and hospitality developments. Her experience spans design management, zoning and massing studies, consultant coordination, and construction-phase leadership.

With a strong interest in hospitality-driven and design-forward environments, Hanxiao approaches each project with a focus on spatial quality, user experience, and the integration of architecture and interiors. She works closely with ownership, design teams, and consultants to align design intent with development strategy, operational goals, and execution.

She is a Registered Architect in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
